This could be your role
In the course of the development of the Westag organisation into a market-oriented, agile and innovation-driven organisation, we are looking for an assistant to the Executive Board. In this role, you will be involved in all issues of the Executive Board, attend board meetings and work exclusively for the members of the board. While the secretary of the Executive Board takes care of all administrative tasks, you will be responsible for the content perspective.

It is only natural that you are involved in all topics of strategic relevance that are directly headed by the Executive Board. Topics such as important investment decisions, budgeting and forecasting, preparation of Supervisory Board meetings, regular reporting to the capital market, preparation of annual general meetings, M&A opportunities and market or competitor analyses are on your agenda. As a project coordinator, you will take over important operational projects by yourself to prepare for your next career step. You will coordinate all activities related to the decisions of the Executive Board, ensure that all necessary information is prepared and that agreed appointments really are deadlines. You will work together with Westag's top management, but also with technical specialists or our shopfloor experts. In this central function, you report directly to the CEO and have the opportunity to work in a challenging, dynamic and results-oriented environment.

You bring that with you
As our ideal candidate, you have at least 4 years of relevant experience in an international strategy consultancy or a professional listed holding organization and would like to develop into an operational management position. You have proven project management skills, have extensive finance and controlling experience, speak at least fluent German and English. As a high potential you know the challenges of a listed, professional company and communication with stakeholders of all kinds is your daily business. You are constantly looking for opportunities for personal development and strive for feedback to accelerate this process.  Challenging topics, demanding and varied tasks and Europe-wide projects are more important to you than scheduled working hours. Due to your excellent communication skills, constructive team play in multidisciplinary and multinational teams is a matter of course for you. A university degree in a field relevant to the position, excellent MS Office skills and an outstanding track record are a must.
